The Marteen coffee tables, designed by Vincent Van Duysen, are presented as contemporary decorative pieces that can be used independently or in combination with seating systems, offering a modern and versatile aesthetic. Their design stands out for the overlapping of boards and the contrast between materials, such as eucalyptus wood and thermo-treated oak on the top, in opposition to the pewter base. Inspired by Gabriella Crespi’s creations, these tables offer mobile and changing volumes that allow for dynamic and functional configurations. Their greatest expressiveness is achieved when combined with the Marteen seating system, generating a harmonious stratification of volumes that, in addition to beautifying the space, provide practical solutions for storing personal objects with a simple gesture.
