The Intersection kitchen, designed by Vincent van Duysen, draws inspiration from the concept of a monolithic object, using natural stone to create a unique, sculptural, and architectural piece. This design is distinguished by its careful selection of materials and implementation of innovative technologies, ensuring functionality and lightness. The cabinet doors open effortlessly, while the lightweight and durable stone sheets are integrated into an alveolar aluminum structure for greater stability. The kitchen also features geometric inlays and surfaces that play with light and shadow, adding elegance. This creation reflects the deep relationship between interior design and architecture that characterizes Van Duysen’s work, who has redefined the concept of mono-material by applying it not only to countertops but also to doors and side panels.
