This dresser stands out for its drawers with hand-painted white fronts and handles crafted in various woods, such as elm, Italian walnut, mahogany, and rosewood. Designed between 1952 and 1955, its re-edition is based on the original sketches preserved in the Gio Ponti Archives. The current production, supervised by Studio Cerri Associati for the Gio Ponti Collection, faithfully respects the original design. Its main structure is made of elm wood, providing an elegant and timeless appearance. As a distinctive detail, the piece rests on delicate satin brass legs, which give it a sophisticated and refined touch. This re-edition not only recaptures the essence of the original design but also represents a tribute to Gio Ponti’s mastery and aesthetic vision, maintaining its relevance in contemporary interior design.
